Planit are an urban and rural place design practice working to benefit people, places and the world at large.
Our established studio in Liverpool is situated in the city centre located in the heart of the CBD near Moorfields Station, within walking distance to the historic waterfront and Liverpool One.  We’ve developed within the city and its growing creative community. We’re working on projects such as Central Park in Liverpool Waters through to Everton and Liverpool FC’s stadium projects. We also continue to develop our presence over the water in Birkenhead where we are involved in some significant and transformational regeneration projects.
You’ll be working on career-defining projects that will help shape the future of the city and wider region for future generations and will be actively engaged in delivering exceptional public realm schemes. Schemes that embed themselves within the communities they serve and seek to restore balance between people, place and nature.
You will also have the opportunity to contribute to our friendly, supportive studio culture and mentor less experienced colleagues. We are a people-centered practice and as an employee-owned business, we operate for the benefit of our team members ensuring everyone feels a sense of value and belonging. We are a tight knit studio of passionate designers and provide the potential for sustained career growth in a rewarding career.
To qualify for this position, you should possess a post-graduate qualification in Landscape Architecture and at least 3 years of post-graduate experience as well as Chartered Membership of the Landscape Institute.
You should be capable of managing projects from inception to completion and have demonstrable experience of managing workloads and mentoring team members.
We are committed to standing alongside clients, communities, and nature to shape meaningful places and explore regenerative futures. As the first B Corp of our profession in the world, we prioritise people, planet, and profit equally, and we welcome candidates who share these values.
We offer a range of benefits to our employees, including a minimum of 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, flexible start and finish times, hybrid and flexible working, company pension, enhanced maternity and paternity pay, support with professional fees, CPD, and an annual study trip allowance. There are opportunities to work and collaborate across our UK wide studios. If you’re looking to move to the Northwest, relocation support is available for the right candidate.
We are an inclusive workplace that values diversity, and we welcome applicants from all backgrounds.
If you are interested in this position, please upload an original cover letter, CV, and details of your experience (max file size 5mb) to apply.
