We’re an urban and rural design practice, working to benefit people, places, and the world at large. We practice Landscape Architecture, Urban Design, and Visual Storytelling, and undertake Creative Engagement and Impact Assessment across projects of all sizes for all sectors.

Two and half decades of practice have given us a heritage, and team skills that place us at the forefront of delivering the change our world needs - responding directly to the critical requirements of our planet and its people.

We’ve defined our short-term trajectory to become a ‘net-positive’ business, and work towards Regenerative Practice. This is enabled by a research and development initiative that culminated in the creation of a design tool. Based on Doughnut Economic principles, the framework utilises the natural laws of interdependence, with two fundamental imperatives - respect of planetary boundaries and support of the social foundation.

Co-Owers Co-Resosby

Recognition we’re dependent upon, and thus accountable to one another and future generations, is also reflected in our business operations.

Planit transitioned to a majority Employee-Owned Business in 2022. As co-owners of the business, each team member contributes to the practice’s success, and the benefits its work generates for our world and communities. Led by our Directors, team members are actively empowered in collectively realising our Purpose and Mission.
