One team working across five UK studios. Collaboration, project work, skill sharing and much more happens on a daily basis, with a Team Newsletter imparting important announcements and news to all on a weekly basis.
Waiting in our inboxes every Monday morning, the newsletter is an integral part of practice-wide communication, to be digested and discussed within the Monday morning team meeting. This is where you’ll find details of the next ‘Rise and Shine’ session, which takes place each Wednesday morning. It may be a workshop, project presentation by one of the team, or led by an external speaker; all compiled to increase creativity, critical thinking and curiosity. Progression of practice-wide initiatives, such as the ‘Change the Plan(IT)’ programme associated with our upcoming transition to Employee Ownership, support of the Greater Manchester Good Employment Charter, or latest B Corp news, are regularly featured. HR surveys or training programmes may be introduced, and those essential updates relating to H&S, change in best-practice or new legislation flagged. They’ll also be some inside hints and tips in the ‘Did you know?’ section, and a recommendation for a podcast, book, programme, or this week a Green Debit Card.
We are a sociable bunch, so the newsletter includes get togethers, upcoming events or team member’s personal news. The hotly contested table tennis tournament was one of the latest socials, with Landscape Architect Ben Musgrave taking on defending champion Richard Line. The Virtual Planit Director just managed to retain the trophy, but we’re not sure for how long. Project news, milestones and latest designs feature highly. It is good to keep abreast of our current portfolio across the studios and be aware of who can provide insights and guidance relating to upcoming work. Early news of commissions and tender wins will be announced to the team, congratulating those who contributed to the tender submission. Our in-house photographer, Fiona Finchett may also share the latest shots of our schemes, or precedent images we’ve taken to add to our cloud-based image library.
We can’t share it all with you, but look out for this week’s newsletter.
